The International Gender Champion is the appropriate platform to promote jointly gender equality. Being Ambassador of Costa Rica, a country fully committed for the equal rights for all, implies responsibility and shared values. As Marie Curie said, "nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood.  Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less".  So is the time to work and take decision for all, without any distinctions.

Personal Commitments

Ensure the meaningful participation of women in all meetings organized by the Embassy with UN. Also ensure the inclusion of women in all Costa Rica official delegations for those meeting that place in Vienna.
Support training programmes on gender matters, in particular scientific programmes and gender based violence, to be implemented at national level.
