Increased empowerment of women and equal opportunities in our organizations are prerequisites in that regard.

Personal Commitments
In my capacity as Head of Mission, I will encourage a policy of work-life balance and work-time flexibility for all employees, with special attention given to employees with care responsibilities, employees with disabilities or health conditions, as well as elder employees, and others.
In my capacity as Permanent Representative, I will continue to advocate for strong language on gender equality, taking into account multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination, and highlighting the specific and different needs of women and girls in all their diversity, in all policy and standard-setting negotiations, be it at the Human Rights Council, the World Health Organization, UNHCR, the International Labour Organization, or any other multilateral fora.
