    Mr. Türk was previously Director of the Division of International Protection at UNHCR and has worked in countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kuwait and Malaysia, among others.

  • Ms. Kate Gilmore, United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights.
    Ms Gilmore is former Assistant Secretary General of UNFPA, and Executive Deputy Secretary General of Amnesty International.

  • •Ms. Şafak Pavey (Moderator), Senior Adviser, Resilience and Solutions, UNHCR.
    Ms. Pavey is a former member of Turkish  Parliament, and has worked with OHCHR,  UN CRPD Committee and UNHCR in Asia, Central  Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

    A presentation from Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, will be displayed. Established in 1992, the camp now hosts up to 150.000 refugees.
