As agents within or supporting the United Nations system, the Secretary-General's strategy on gender parity impacts us all.  It offers a roadmap to reach system-wide parity at all levels by 2028, but how do we create a culture of gender equality?  Ambassador Katja Pehrman will explain the key foci of the new strategy and the role of UN Women in assisting other UN entities in eradicating bias and fostering inclusion. Join us for a discussion on what this strategy covers, and ways we can all ensure the equal participation of women at all levels of the system.

Katja Pehrman is Senior Advisor at UN Women, responsible for issues related to gender parity. Currently she is actively involved in enhancing and implementing measures of the UN Secretary-General's System-wide Strategy on Gender Parity.
