Advancing gender equality within our organisations can be hard. As discussed during our last focal points meeting, it can involve differences in perceptions, values, attitudes and behaviours. However, we cannot achieve gender equality alone, we need to generate shared commitment towards common goals. During this interactive workshop, we will be exploring:
- What is challenging about conversations to advance gender equality?
- What are some tools we can use to have difficult conversations?
- How do we encourage colleagues to speak up and share their ideas and opinions?
Please be ready to engage and share your ideas in break-out groups. The session will operate under Chatham House rules and it will not be recorded. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to extend the invitation to one or two colleagues in your organisation who would find it useful.
