UNRISD and the International Gender Champions are co-hosting a breakfast meeting and roundtable discussion on the importance of recognizing care as a need, as work and as a right for all people.

Despite growing attention to the menstrual hygiene needs of women and girls in different geographical contexts, menstrual hygiene management continues to be an issue that is frequently overlooked or poorly addressed.

The event will explore good practices and efforts being undertaken to address, prevent and, ultimately, eradicate sexual harassment through an intersectional approach and continue the dialogue on our joint efforts to prevent sexual harassment across the UN system and beyond. It is jointly organized by the CEB Task Force on Addressing Sexual Harassment, the UN Secretariat and UN Women.
